
Brief Bio
Fortunate Ogene is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Energy, Minerals and Petroleum Studies, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology. He is a Chemical Engineer with a profound background in Petroleum Geosciences. Fortunate has experience in computation studies involving modelling and simulation of biomass conversion and chemical processes involving bio-fuel upgrading . He has taught several courses to mention Fundamentals of Petroleum Processing, Refinery Operations and Maintenance, Formation Evaluation, Petroleum Geology, Seismic Data Interpretation among others. Fortunate coordinates several activities in the Department. He is the coordinator of Students’ welfare, Workshops & Seminars. He is also responsible for coordination of students’ Industrial placements and curriculum Development.
